Any remedies for getting rid of heartburn? - getting rid of vomit smell
31wks 3 days pregnant with baby # 2nd I woke up yesterday evening, with the worst burns in my life. I took a glass of milk and did not. I know I can not Pepto Bismol, Tums do the job? Does anyone know a good remedy for bad heartburn?

My doctor prescribed Zantac 150 twice a day. My son is 5 months and a fine. Zantac took my way really, and helped, but I have acid reflux. I took my zantac twice a day from when she about 12 weeks, and was perfectly fine. My dr actually prescribed for me, it was my insurance. Buy a little more than 75 against 150 for Zantac, or your doctor ask if it has to play in order for you. My doctor told me it was very good, and my son was no problem at all, was born:) Best wishes and feel better!
Tums do temporary work. I had severe heartburn with my first pregnancy and took the maximum dose of Tums every day. I started asking, as I do, that I had exhausted my daily dose previously was very bad! Other than that, stay away from spicy food and yes, milk and drink plenty of water.
